So after a day or two I go down to start some oil change on the rig and I notice I have a flat on the rear.

O.K. I can fix this.
So I go through the procedure, get my TMT 3 out, get my tire fix box out and off I go.

Fixed that flat in no time (a very tiny 1/2" finishing nail punctured the tube) with my tube repair kit and my trusty TMT 3.

Now that I have the tire off on the rear I change the final drive oil plus grease the splines on the final drive and sidecar shaft. Bonus!

So the tire goes back on, I get it under the fender, push the axle through and throw the nut on to the end of the axle and put the 22mm thin wrench on it. Yes that one inside the U-joint.
On the left side I decide just to put a rod through the axle hole to tighten it.
It works great.
With the 22 mm wrench working it's wonders on the right side I continue to tighten on the left.
Get the tire on tight, then wrench on the brake holder and the brake housing.
A bit of loctite on all the bolts and then playing where the eff' did that u clip go until I got both of them on.

Time to push the bike off the centre stand. All good.

Time to start the bike up. 3 kicks and it fires up nicely.
After warming up lets go for a spin in the underground. Just to make sure everything works.

3 feet out. BANG!

Stop. I have a look around. Oh must be the centre stand wasn't fully up.
Put centre stand fully up.

Move another 3 feet. BANG and then clinkering noise against the concrete floor like someone threw a wrench.

Oh fuck.

I didn't remove the 22 mm wrench from inside the U-joint.

I see a now a half U of a 22 mm wrench 4 metres from the bike. I look down at the rear drive.
Where the eff' did the nut and washer go?

Push the rig back in to my parking spot and search for the nut and washer.
Spend half an hour searching for a nut and washer and to add to my search luck, the rest of the 22mm wrench.

I find fuck all.

In an underground garage.

They cant go far.

I now think that once breaking or leaving the rig they are made to camouflage themselves in to their surrounding environment. I didn't find them.

So my day was riding out to the Ural shop in 7°C weather on my Ninja to get a new bolt, washer and a 22 mm wrench.

The oil change is now scheduled for another day.
