So it begins...
As my search for a year round vehicle slowly narrowed I began to question what exactly I was looking for.I did want something that I could drive all year round and something that could go anywhere. I first decided on some type of convertible but something kept nagging me that this was not what I wanted.
I decided that I am the happiest when riding a motorcycle.
But I can't really ride one all year long, especially if there is snow. So how can I make this happen? A sidecar. Elegant and simple solution. Three wheels to keep me balanced in all weather, plenty of room to carry stuff and it is a motorcycle.
So I did my research, scoured the web and decided that I needed a new motorcycle with a sidecar. With snowy roads and muddy trails dancing about in my head only one bike came to the top of my list and that was the Ural. And not any Ural, as there are a few different types, it had to be the 2014 Gear Up with disc brakes on all three wheels, EFI (Electronic Fuel Ignition), and in the colour of Sage Green. So with cash in hand I ordered my bike and luckily they had the one I wanted in stock.
I found an insurance broker and when the weekend came around I was now an owner of a new motorcycle with a sidecar.
