So another travel day but this one is not that long. Just traveling north from Point Farms Provincial Park to Bruce Peninsula National Park.
Another nice warm day and the skies were cloudy so I was hoping that it would stay that way.
As I was riding through Southhampton I saw on the north west corner a brewery? Turned around in a parking lot and sure enough I had stumbled upon Outlaw Brew Company.
They had been open in this location for six months but did not have anything on tap as they had run out. So I bought two six packs, threw them in the cooler and continued on my way.
One thing I did notice that coming out of the brew pub the sun was shining. Still clouds in the sky but lots of sunshine.
Continued along and as I got closer to Bruce the sky got darker so I had to pull over and get the rain gear on.
After that an uneventful ride into Bruce. The good thing is the rain stopped so off came the rain gear. Set up camp and it was still early so off in to Tobermory.
As I was cruising in to downtown I noticed another brewery! This time Tobermory Brewing Company. I had to go in for a few pints and I would have eaten there but the kitchen was closed.
Very good beer here. And the sun was shining brightly as I came out. Something tells me that visiting a brewery just makes the world brighter and happier.
At some point during the day the odometer rolled over ten thousand.
When I returned to my camp site I saw that my bear box was delivered. As I am on a motorcycle I really don't have any secure storage especially for food and cooking items. The bear box gives me a place to store my food, cooler and cooking equipment so if a bear does come in to camp I have nothing out and makes it more difficult for the bear to get at my stuff and hopefully stay away from me.
