Today I'm off to New Brunswick, in the rain. Packed up camp in the rain so the tent is now quite damp.
Started off from the K.O.A. and it was raining but not to hard but it started to come dowm more and the temperature dropped into the single digit, 9° C. Stopped in to Auberge du Faubourg for breakfast, coffee and a chance to warm up.
Rained most of the way through Quebec and slowed down once I reached New Brunswick.
Stopped at the most western point of New Brunswick by road. If I wasn't fully loaded and the weather was a little better I would have continued up the trail another 5 kilometres or however far I could get.
After that it was off to Grand Falls to grab a campground but once I saw Motel Leo with a motorcycle out front I pulled in and grabbed myself a room.
Through all my stuff in to the room hoping some of it would dry out.
I am impressed with my Klim riding gear and Alpinestar boots. They kept me dry. The only wet areas were where my shirt was hanging below the jacket and one spot on my leg where I didn't have the zipper up all the way.
Had pizza deliverd and then a warm bath and off to sleep I went.
