Woke up today to another cool and cloudy day. Headed in to Ottawa to do some site seeing. I travelled along the highway to save time but man was it cold and windy heading in to Ottawa.
I was going to do some site seeing in Ottawa but upon arriving the traffic was heavy so it was off to Orleans to Wheelsport, another Ontario Ural dealer.
From Wheelsport I was off to Vankleek Hill. This little town is the Gingerbread Capitol of Ontario. Now not the nice gingerbread cookies that you are thinking of but the addition of woodwork that adds detail to the interior or exterior of a building.
I went here not for the gingerbread but for the beer. Beau's All Natural Brewery is located here so off I went to get my growler filled. But like most Ontario brweries they would not fill citing health and cleanliness concerns. So I buy one of their growlers, take it outside and fill mine up then return their growler for the refund.
Anyhow besides that archaic rule go visit Beau's. They make good beer.
Then it was off to Hawkesbury for some more beer, food, ice and gas. Then a quick ride back to the campground for another early day.
